Design, launch, and upgrade aircraft in this Roblox sandbox. Earn Cash by distance, unlock rare blocks at Bob's Block Shop, and survive procedurally generated biomes.

Overview
Build A Plane is a Roblox simulation by Budget Gaming (released June 2025). You assemble planes from shop parts, launch through obstacle-filled biomes, and earn Cash based on travel distance. Cash funds better parts; rare blocks can roll mutations for extra performance.
This is not Plane Crazy, Build a Boat for Treasure, or Build a Plane Tycoon by Split Second Studios. Those are separate games with different mechanics and codes.
Core loop: Build on your plot → sit in a Seat → Launch → survive obstacles → earn Cash → upgrade at Bob's Block Shop (stock refreshes every 15 minutes). Your plane can continue earning while you are offline according to the official description.
Codes
As of the last verification date below, Build A Plane does not have a code redemption system. There are no working or expired codes for this experience. Websites listing codes like FLYHIGH2025 often confuse this game with Build a Plane Tycoon or publish speculative fake codes.
If Budget Gaming adds codes in a future update, they will likely appear in-game under Settings or near the shop, and be announced on the official Discord or Roblox community group. We will update this section when that happens.
How to redeem codes (when available)
- Launch Build A Plane on Roblox.
- Open Settings or look for a Codes button in the main UI.
- Paste the code exactly and confirm.
- Check your Cash or inventory for rewards.
Bookmark this wiki and verify codes only from official Budget Gaming channels to avoid scams.
Controls
Controls split into building on your plot and flying after launch. PC uses mouse and keyboard; mobile layouts follow standard Roblox touch controls and may vary slightly by device.
Building
| Action | PC | Mobile |
|---|---|---|
| Place part | Left click | Tap |
| Rotate part | Right click | Rotate gesture / UI |
| Open shop | Enter / Space near shop | Tap shop UI |
| Move camera | WASD or arrow keys | Drag / joystick |
| Zoom | Mouse scroll | Pinch |
Flying
| Action | PC | Mobile |

| Interact | E / F | Interact button |
Mobile bindings follow Roblox defaults; always check in-game Settings if a control feels wrong.
Beginner Guide
Your first goal is maximum distance per run, not a pretty plane. Early physics reward fuel capacity and thrust more than wings.
Starter money build (Minimalist Raft)
- Place 4–6 Blocks as a flat platform.
- Buy a Seat ($50) in the center — required to pilot.
- Attach one Propeller ($50) at the rear, facing forward.
- Spend remaining Cash on Fuel Can parts ($15 each) stacked on the platform.
- Launch, fly steady with small inputs, reinvest earnings into Better Fuel and Better Propeller.
Parts & Shop
Bob's Block Shop sits on the left side of the play area. Parts cost Cash or Robux. Each item has limited stock; the shop restocks every 15 minutes. Legendary and Mythic items such as Missile and Energy Shield appear less often — check back frequently.
| Part | Cost | Rarity | Role | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Block | $5 | Common | Structure chassis | Low — cheap filler |
| Seat | $50 | Common | Required to pilot | Essential — buy first |
| Fuel Can | $15 | Common | Basic fuel | High early game |
| Better Fuel | $100 | Uncommon | Improved fuel efficiency | High mid game |
| Best Fuel | $500 | Rare | Top-tier fuel | Core endgame stack |
| Wing | $20 | Common | Basic lift | Low for grinding |
| Better Wing | $300 | Rare | Better stability | Situational luxury |
| Propeller | $50 | Common | Thrust | Essential first engine |
| Better Propeller | $500 | Rare | Faster thrust | High mid game |
| Balloon Deployer | $1,000 | Rare | Deploys balloon when fuel ends | Good for glide extension |
| Booster | $2,500 | Epic | Speed burst | Mid-late experimental |
| Missile | $5,000 | Legendary | Offense / speed boost | Late game optional |
| Energy Shield | $10,000 | Mythic | Blocks non-solid obstacles once | Endgame records |

Biomes & Map
The world is a long procedural flight path, not an open-world map you navigate freely. Biomes change as distance increases, each with different hazards.
- Desert and grassland-style zones early in runs.
- Winter (Update 1): cold weather and moving tornadoes.
- Overgrowth (Update 1): tall trees and dense structures.
- Obstacles include cannons, lasers, spikes, and spinning hazards — Energy Shield blocks non-solid hits once per run.
Money & Builds
Earnings scale with distance (roughly $500 per ~5 km reported by community guides). Re-run profitable designs before chasing expensive Mythic parts.
Mid-game: transition to a Fuel-Stack — many Best Fuel cans on a small spine with Better Propellers. Late-game: Energy Shield for record runs, then Missile for speed experiments.
Some guides argue normal Fuel Can beats expensive fuel on cost-per-distance early on; others prioritize Better Fuel then Best Fuel. Test with your current shop stock.
Propeller-Spam builds attach many propellers for extreme speed but are hard to control and often crash quickly.
Mutations & Events
Rare shop blocks can spawn with mutations that boost stats. The Blood Moon event includes a spin wheel (costs in-game currency) with weighted rewards.
| Outcome | Chance |
|---|---|
| 500 Cash | 50% |
| 1K Cash | 30% |
| Bloodmoon Propeller | 18.5% |
| Bloodmoon Wing | 1% |
